That touching His1 priesthood, being consecrated, He has appeared once to put away sin, by offering and sacrificing of Himself; and to this end has fully performed and suffered all those things, by which God through the blood of that His cross, in an acceptable sacrifice, might be reconciled to His elect; and having2 broken down the partition wall, and therewith finished and removed all those legal rites, shadows, and ceremonies, is now3 entered within the veil into the Holy of Holies to the very heaven, and presence of God, where He forever lives, and sits at the right hand of majesty appearing before the face of His Father, to make intercession for such as come unto the throne of grace by that new and living way; and not that only, but makes His people a4 spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Him. Neither does the Father accept, or Christ offer any other sacrifice, worship, or worshippers.
