That God is a Spirit,1 whose being is of Himself,2 and gives being,3 moving, and preservation to all other things being Himself eternal,4 most holy, every way infinite, in greatness, wisdom, power, goodness, justice, truth, etc. And that in this Godhead there be three5 distinct persons co-eternal,6 coequal, and co-essential,7 being every one of them and the same God, and therefore not divided but distinguished one from another by their several and peculiar property: The Father8 of none, the Son9 begotten of the Father from everlasting, the Holy Ghost10 proceeding from the Father and the Son before all beginnings.
